It has been some time since I have updated the blog. We have been very busy! Mark is student teaching and taking one grad. class online. I am also busy with school. We moved into family housing on the campus of MSU-Billings about a month ago! We are thankful for the location and the savings. Maya enjoys her new neighborhood including bike rides around campus with her daddy (in a bike trailer), a new 4-year-old neighbor friend to play with, and family swim time at the college pool.
Here's Maya covered in flour helping make Penia for Easter. Penia is a sweet bread originating in rural Italy. Mark's family makes Penia every year and we started the tradition with Maya today. It is rising in a large wooden bowl on our counter and the apartment smells like Anise!
